What is The Difference Between A Dry Iron and Steam Iron
If you’re wondering what the difference is between the two types of clothing irons, then read on to find out.
1- Water Tank
A steam iron contains a water tank in order to produce steam, while a dry iron does not. The water tank allows it to easily and effectively iron your clothes, removing stubborn wrinkles in the process.
2- Steam Output and holes
Steam irons feature a steam output and steam holes. This allows them to release steam that gives you wrinkle-free clothes. A dry clothing iron, however, lacks these features.
3- Versatility
A steam iron can also be used as a dry iron. Simply keep the water tank empty and you’ve got a dry iron. However, a dry clothing iron can't function as a steamer. Plus, steam irons come in a wide variety of shapes such as portable steam irons to give you total flexibility.
4- The Soleplate
A dry clothing iron has a flat sole plate, making it easier to clean. Meanwhile, a steam iron has many steam holes, which require more effort to clean.
If you’re ready to make ironing simpler than ever, then shop for our range of steam irons at a great price. Plus, if you need to save space and make ironing even easier, then opt for a clothes steamer that requires no ironing board or ironing expertise. How to Clean a Steam Iron
Start by unplugging and turning off the iron.
1- Mix 1 cup of distilled water with 1 cup of white vinegar
2- Pour the mixture into the iron’s steam reservoir
